Malleson Emmerling is a cradle Catholic born in St. Louis, Missouri. She was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and currently lives with her daughter in Lenexa, Kansas. She was away from the Catholic Church for 17 years. Upon the death of her mother, she returned to the Church and sought to re-educate herself through the School of Faith in the archdiocese of Kansas City. Her love and zeal for the Catholic faith is evident in her life and in her writings.
Her education includes a B.A. in Journalism, an M.A. in Marketing and completion of a 2-year spiritual mentorship program offered through the Apostles of the Interior Life and the School of Faith. Borne from a spiritual re-awakening after her mother’s death, breast cancer and the loss of her marriage, all in 2012, Malleson’s writings are inspirational and filled with hope.
