My name is Nancy Davis. I live in the heartland of America in a rural farming community near Springfield, IL. I grew up on a farm surrounded by loving family. I married at age 18 and am still married to the love of my life, my husband, Tom. We will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary this year. I have three grown children. I don't have any grandchildren yet. I am a registered nurse by profession and am co-owner of a small consulting company.
I love my faith. I attend daily Mass and am involved in many ministries in our Church, including choir, WATCH team, Eucharistic ministry (at Mass and homebound/nursing home) and I am a sacristan. I am also an active member of the Eastern Area Cursillo Community and have been meeting weekly in a reunion group for the past 9 years.
I am very active in mission work. I am co-founder of a 501(C)3 non-profit named Love Repeated. We raise money for the children of the Rulenge-Ngara diocese of Tanzania, East Africa. I traveled to Tanzania in 2013 for 3 weeks of mission. I also have a mission in Piedras Negras, Mexico. This is an informal mission but I try to travel there twice a year and work with a Benedictine sister.
God is the center of my life. I am abundantly blessed and try to truly live an attitude of gratitude. I am an avid reader. I have been writing informally for 9 years in a daily spiritual journal. I have had one story published in a book named: God Moments III and published by Joseph Karl Publishing, a Catholic publishing company.
