I am a daughter of God, a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a Lay Dominican. God has blessed me with many joys in these roles. It is precisely through these roles that He has also brought me to Himself.
I was baptized Catholic as an infant and raised in the faith; but as with many post-Vatican II children, my catechesis was fuzzy. I did the best I could to pass on this fuzzy-faith that I inherently knew was truth, but frankly was not well equipped to do so. Just before I turned forty years old, my life as I knew it was falling apart. My marriage included. This is the time when my faith became personal. Personal faith is faith you live and share. My conversion story includes conviction (hello ugly!), repentance (and then the sorrow), sacraments (where I found grace, forgiveness and healing), and an insatiable appetite for all things God!
My goal in blogging is to share God as I encounter Him, to share the truth encapsulated in His Church and to encourage others in their journeys seeking God.
