Lisa Ponchak and her husband, Tom, graduated from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. After spending the first few years of their marriage working in youth ministry and religious education they left the Catholic Church. For ten years they were members of a non-denominational, evangelical church movement. They planted and pastored an alternative house church called Matthew's House Vineyard Church and in 2007, they returned to full communion with the Catholic Church. They have been married for over twenty years and have six children. They reside in Indiana where Tom is the Director of Adult Faith Formation at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish.
