My grandmother once said, "Mass is the best thing there is," and "The best thing we do at my church is feeding the poor." When she came from Italy to the United States, she had only a third-grade education, but to us, she was a saint and a "Doctor of the Church." Praying the Rosary and for the Poor Souls in Purgatory helped her carry the grief of losing three of her children in her lifetime.
