What does it mean to be blessed?

I am a pretty emotional person. I fully admit to this. I think there's this stereotype that autistic people can be rather cold, but, it's not true.
I think, as Christians, we tend to forget that Jesus had quite a bit in common with us.
Like, the fact that Jesus had emotions.
After all, “Jesus wept” (John 11:35).
It's really easy for us to defend Jesus's divinity, because, in this day and age, we find it attacked way more than his humanity.
But, the fact is, is that Jesus Christ is true man and true God.
And, when we forget the “true man” part, we forget that Jesus experienced things like the same types of emotions you and I do.
Remember, "For we have not a high priest, who can not have compassion on our infirmities: but tempted in all things like as we are, without sin". (The Douay Rheims has a lot of good qualities, that could have been a better translation).
But, I do think, that because, as Christians, we're so used to defending our beliefs against Unitarians, that we forget things like Jesus is described as eating, drinking, and sleeping.
"The Son of man is come eating and drinking: and you say: Behold a man that is a glutton and a drinker of wine, a friend of publicans and sinners". (Luke 7:34).
"And behold a great tempest arose in the sea, so that the boat was covered with waves, but he was asleep". (Matthew 8:24).
So, Jesus slept, eat, drank, and felt grief.
Jesus can feel what you feel, because he's been there, but without the sin you and I have.
Don't think of him as being far off. He isn't Jesus loves you. He died for your sins, and never forget that.
