A new song in your heart

    Do you need a new song in your heart? God can replace that melancholy song with a new song of upbeat and joy. Seemingly, when things are bad, we tend to carry a song of woe, even maybe a song of disdain or despair, when things go wrong and we don't understand why. Turning to God to rescue us from the muddled feeling or thoughts we have He brings us a new song. A song of Peace and Hope and resignation and He truly sings it to our souls. Our ears only hear, when we are down, it seems, songs of despair or hopelessness. We are human. We get sad and frustrated asking the question "why did this have to happen?". But God has a purpose for everything. The importance of surrender, shows us Peace and His new song. At the very core of that Peace, stands Jesus, stretching out His welcoming arms ready to hold Us in every single situation. Reminding ourselves that God does not think the way we do, helps us achieve this "new song". God must Love beautiful music because we often hear of  the angels in Heaven, playing their harps and singing to Him constantly. Their song is sweet. It honors and glorifies Him immensely. Just like the new song He gives us when we turn it all completely over to Him. We give Him "our" new song by telling Him we trust in Him and will never ever doubt His Majestic Powers.
