The Heart Of Mary, The Heart Of The Church
By Bernice Pillart Dumitru
The Heart of Mary is a mystery that we are just beginning to fathom. Saint John Eudes, the Father, Doctor and Apostle of Devotion to the Sacred Hearts says that , "Jesus Christ, the Heart of the Eternal Father, is the Heart of His Holy Mother." In the late 1600's, Saint John Eudes wrote about devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary decades before Jesus revealed His Heart to Saint Margaret Mary.

To know I am loved
By Laura Peredo
When things go right, when things go wrong, knowing I am loved by you changes the way I live. It puts a smile on my face, and peace in my soul. It keeps my heart beating. Knowing I am loved by you, I can close my eyes in your presence and be sure you are still there. You dry my tears but let them fall when they need to. You make me want to love better.

What is a ‘Practicing Catholic'?
By Bill Dunn
On a busy New York City street, a man approached a stranger and asked, “Excuse me, how do you get to Carnegie Hall?” The other man solemnly replied, “Practice, practice, practice.” Practice is an interesting word. One definition is: “repeated performance or systematic exercise for the purpose of acquiring skill or proficiency.”

Is Pro-Choice Actually "Pro-Choice"?
By Tiffany Germain
People in support of pro-choice believe that the expecting woman should be able to choose the outcome of their pregnancy. Some may even disagree with abortions, but they still think that it is the woman’s choice. Without really bringing the baby into this article, I want to focus on the whole “choice” word. If someone is pro-choice, they should be for the option that has more of an actual choice.

Sometimes God Speaks in Dreams
By Elizabeth Thomas
It ain’t easy being a dreamer! Many were the times that dreams came in the night. Vivid dreams, sometimes in color, with distinct details that left a deep memory of the dream in my mind. Upon waking these dreams would go into my journals and prayer would be prayed for an interpretation. God does speak to us in dreams. There is no doubt about this, for I have seen them come true, and also

Catechesis Plus Evangelization: Turning Young Hearts to Christ
By Gwen Evans
The 2014 Religious Landscape Study by Pew Research revealed some discouraging data about millennials. If the numbers are accurate, many young adults are choosing to reject the Catholic Faith as a relevant, viable alternative for their lives.

Why Would Anyone Pray the Litany of Humility?
By Emily Borman
I love the Litany of Humility! However, it was not love at first sight. I remember the first time someone mentioned the prayer to me. I wasn’t familiar with it so I googled. I made the sign of the Cross and immediately began praying the prayer; but I couldn’t digest the words.

Homilies Not Horoscopes
By Michelle Watkins
I once shared a spiritual revelation with a coworker. I told her about a time when I was a Sunday Mass and the homily fit perfectly with the status of current events in my personal life. I told her it was as if the words were targeted directly to me, meant specifically for events during that particular week.

The Real Reason: Why We do Good Works
By Michelle Watkins
I used to work with an individual who very openly and aggressively challenged my Catholic faith on a frequent basis. Often these ‘attacks’ would leave me feeling sad, frustrated or angry. But also quite often these verbal assaults would make me delve deeper into my own faith. I would study the ‘who’, ‘what’, ‘where’ and ‘why’ of the Catholic faith with earnest.

Choose more than the Morsel
By Susan Skinner
I read the above verse earlier this week, and something has been sticking out at me all week, so I decided to write it down. It’s the fact that Judas, the betrayer, who walked with Jesus, took a morsel from Jesus right before he allowed Satan to enter him. And he did not stick around for the Institution of the Eucharist.

On Fear
By Crysaly Aviles
Fear is evil. It paralyses us and renders us ineffective. Generally defined, fear is an apprehension of something or someone. In Christian terms, fear is a distrust of God with what’s going on in our lives. For example, if something out of the ordinary is happening we may fear it because we did not welcome it - but that is exactly where trust in God is truly tested.

Beautiful Days
By Lori Conklin
It’s a normal Friday morning, I am on my way to the local grocery store, and I am hoping to be in and out. It’s not that I don’t like shopping, it’s just that it’s a gloomy day and I would rather be sleeping. I am greeted as I walk into the store and still think it is funny, I remember a time there wasn’t a need for a formal greeter, as people were just friendlier.
