Does God send us "signs," letting us know He has heard our prayers? You Decide.
By Larry Peterson
I recently attended a funeral Mass and during the few minutes before the Mass started, something extraordinary happened. I believe God sent a messenger to share with all those in attendance an affirmation of what we proclaim to believe; that there is Life after Death. It all happened within a few moments, and it was entirely unexpected. How many people actually paid attention, I do not know.

Visited by a Soul from Purgatory? - A True Story
By Charles Fraune
There is a personal story that I am compelled to share which must somehow be connected with the new work I have begun, and with the research and associated spiritual work needed in order to write and publish Slaying Dragons: What Exorcists See & What We Should Know. If that is actually the case, it would make sense to me.

On Earth As It Is In Heaven
By Lorrie McNickle
There seems to be something deep inside all of us that inclines us toward sin and creates a barrier for us to Truth and Joy. We all want it, and most of us aspire to even lessor supposed goods as an alternative to the real virtues.

Living The Worthy Life: The Three R's Of The Mass Relevance, Reverence, and Religious Education
By Michael Cunningham
Houston we have a problem. Some people are looking for answers in all the wrong places. Instead of relevant answers, they are simply creating many more problems. They are calling for the Church to go back to its traditional teaching but what is traditional in a traditional sense? The problem becomes quickly apparent here. The question is what is traditional?

The Grave Danger of Receiving the Eucharist Unworthily
By Amelia Monroe Carlson
A Pew study in 2019 reflected the sad reality that only 31 percent of Catholics believe the bread and wine at Mass actually become the body and blood of Jesus. In other words, 69 percent of Catholics do not believe in the Real Presence, which is the “source and summit of the Christian life (CCC 1324)”.

There Is a War Raging Inside Us Between Divine Love and Self-love
By Kevin J. Banet
There is a war raging inside us between divine love and self-love. How do we allow divine love to win out in our lives? Why do you think we are so prone to self-love? How can we surrender more of our will and passions to God’s will and good pleasure?

Whine and Cheese
By Joni Johnson
Can you hear the high-pitched tone in a person’s voice? Our society is all about instant gratification and indulgence. It really isn’t surprising, when you consider the technology to which we have access.

We Could Be So Much Happier
By Charles Fraune
...if we would embrace everything Our Lord offers us. One of the many important things that I learned while researching and writing Slaying Dragons: What Exorcists See & What We Should Know is that we can all be so much happier than we are and so much happier than we think we could be.

Quotes That PROVE The Primacy of Rome in the Early Church
By Arnold Scott
The Catholic Church includes all of the local (particular) churches in full communion with the Bishop of Rome, who is the successor of St. Peter. It was St. Peter who was entrusted by the Lord Jesus Christ as the shepherd to stand in the place of the Good Shepherd (John 10:11) and feed His sheep (John 21:15).

Essential Catholicism: Baptism in the Holy Spirit
By Greg Schlueter
BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT is not something for a particular type of Catholic. Or personality. To be Catholic is to be open to all God desires for us. Whether we understand it or not. Whether it has been represented well or not.

Hell: What is it and who goes there?
By Amelia Monroe Carlson
It’s a reality that is not often preached, yet so important to understand. The Bible, the Lord Jesus, and many saints speak about hell. It’s more than a concept, an idea, or a scare tactic. It’s a real place where real people go and spend eternity. However, we need to understand what hell truly is and who goes there.

The Eucharist, Our Foretaste of Eternity
By JP Nunez
Most Christian churches (whether Protestant, Catholic, or Orthodox) recognize that the Eucharist looks forward in some way to Jesus’ second coming and the consummation of God's plan of salvation. This is taught pretty explicitly in Scripture. For example, when talking about the Eucharist, St. Paul says, “For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death

By Bill Dunn
A few months ago, I attended the annual Connecticut Catholic Men’s Conference at St. Paul High School in Bristol.
