Steve has been volunteering at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen, Ohio since 1995.

His passion to ‘pay it forward’ is evident by a 20-year vocation of volunteering at Holy Redeemer and serving as a mentor to college students.

His vocation started when he volunteered as a Junior High CCD teacher. Soon there after, he also joined the High School youth ministry program in 1997, assisting the parish’s Youth Minister. Naturally, after a few years he found himself drawn to teaching at the High School level.

He was instrumental in helping to initiate a Bible study program, Way of the Cross drama and Parish dinner theatre entertainment put on by the youth. The youth group continues to thrive by drawing 40-50 youth for the weekly youth group meetings.
