Russell M. Lawson is an author, speaker, and professor who teaches American/European/World history as well as the history of Christianity and the history of Roman Catholicism. He has a Ph.D. from the University of New Hampshire, and has written nearly two dozen books: biographies, monographs, local history, encyclopedia. He has taught at the Diocese of Tulsa's Pastoral Studies Institute and is currently a volunteer social studies teacher at Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma. Besides Catholic 365, Lawson's articles appear in Catholic Exchange.
