Since a powerful reversion experience in September 2013, Matthew Johnson has desired to share the Catholic Faith with everyone he meets. On September 23rd, 2017, on the feast day of St. Padre Pio, he married the love of his life, Maggie, and live in the Raleigh area of North Carolina with his wife.
Matthew participates in Brown Bag Ministry, Youth Ministry, Breaking Open the Word Bible Study, and helps his parish family wherever he can (from lighting candles to holding open the doors before Mass in greeting).
He is aspiring to be both teacher and permanent deacon, by the help of God’s grace, in the future and is working towards these goals. Some of his favorite hobbies include writing, studying theology, recreational sports, antiquing, flea market hunting, artistic endeavors, and much more.
