Kimberly Erickson lives in Salem, Oregon with her husband, Karl Erickson, and their two children. Kimberly has illustrated two of her husband’s children's books currently published by Rafka Press. They two enjoy working together on uplifting books for children.

As the daughter of acclaimed illustrator and sculptor, John Carroll Collier, and the granddaughter of successful landscape artist, Carroll Collier, Kimberly is no stranger to the arts. Over the last few years, Kimberly has experimented with a wide variety of art mediums—including “water gilding,” the art of covering objects in gold leaf, painting with gouache or opaque water colors, and (most recently) the creation of colorful artwork in glass. Her enchanting artwork captures the wonder and delight of a child’s imagination.
