Kara Klein was born on Christmas Eve, 1985, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She began singing and writing music at the age of 9, and released her first original album, A Touch of Your Grace, at the age of 18. Since then Kara has released four additional albums and two singles. She has traveled throughout the United States and abroad, sharing her testimony and music with people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures. She has appeared on four international television programs, has sung beside other widely acclaimed artists such as Aaron Neville and Matt Maher, and at venues such as World Youth Day and Carnegie Hall. In the last five years Kara has won 6 Unity Awards by the United Catholic Music and Video Association, including “Best Female Vocalist of the Year” in 2008. Kara currently lives in Nashville, TN and is passionate about continuing to spread the message of discovering authentic joy and fullness of life in Christ.
