I am 37 years old, and have been a Catholic my whole life. I was very active in my high school youth group, and when I was a freshman in college, I and a friend of mine ran my church's youth group, because the previous leader had stepped away. It was difficult to go to college and help keep a youth group going, while waiting for someone with more time and experience to step up, but we kept it afloat. Faith-wise, the last two years have been the greatest of my life. Out of the blue, I was asked to sponsor an 85 year old woman in our RCIA program, and immediately accepted. I learned so much and grew so much going through RCIA with this woman, and the fire keeps getting bigger, as I was asked again this year to sponsor another gentleman.

I am a humble, happy guy. I have been married to my wife for 13 1/2 years, and we are still madly in love. I love our two kids, and love being a dad. I'm so very thankful for my job as it takes care of my family and allows my wife to stay home with our two kids, which she loves to do.
