Donna (Colbert) McMullen is a wife/mom/writer/teacher with an Associates degree in Communications, Bachelors degree in Business Management and Masters degree in Elementary Education. The past fourteen years she has been blessed to work from home in order to help her husband Bill of 24 years with his trucking business and be a stay-at-home mom for their seven children.
Donna's books and are designed to teach children a moral lesson. The Silver Money Tree teaches respect for others, Friend in the Mirror (soon to be released) teaches children to treat others the way they want to be treated, and Earth Camp (soon to be released) teaches children about God's love for each of us.
In 1976, Donna was proud to be one of the first female alter servers in the Albany, NY Diocese. She was raised in a devout Irish-Italian home and finds great comfort in her Catholic faith which she has passed on to her children (and their friends).
Donna enjoys cheering for her children at their many sporting events and helping a homeless organizationHUGS (HatsUmbrellasGloves Scarves) to raise awareness and funds for God's homeless and needy "children".
