Daniel R Ball is an oncology and palliative care RN, and will be taking vows to enter into the Lay Cistercians Order of The Abbey of Gethsemene, which is a group of lay persons who support the abbey and strive to incorporate Cistercian spirituality into their lives. He is a convert to Catholicism, entering into full communion in 2005. He lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife and two daughters.
