Daniel Fitzpatrick is the author of the novels Only the Lover Sings and First Make Mad, the poetry collection Yonder in the Sun, a verse translation of Dante’s Divine Comedy, and, most recently, Restoring the Lord’s Day: How Reclaiming Sunday Can Revive Our Human Nature. He is the editor of Joie de Vivre: a Journal of Art, Culture, and Letters for South Louisiana, and he is a member of the New Orleans Museum of Art’s Creative Assembly.
