Born a cradle Catholic, Brett attended Catholic School into the tenth grade, continued to participate in the Church through his twenties and taught religious education. Right at the time of his thirtieth birthday, a series of God ordained struggles led Brett to a discovery of the Sacred Scriptures. This love led to his question, how could he participate in his faith for 30 years and not know the very Word of God? This began a now over decade long journey that started with him leaving the Catholic Church, receiving his graduate diploma in Theology and Biblical Studies, becoming an ordained protestant pastor and ultimately through his study of the Bible, returning to the Catholic Church. Brett, his wife Nicole, and his two children, Coral and Brett, make their home in Montgomery, Texas and call St. Anthony of Padua in the Woodlands their Catholic Community.
