Anthony Cecil, Jr.

Anthony Cecil, Jr., is a native of Kentucky. After graduating from high school in 2011, he entered seminary for the Archdiocese of Louisville. In May 2015, he graduated from the Bishop Simon Bruté College Seminary and Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in Catholic Studies, a Concentration in Pre-Theology Philosophy and a Minor in German. Currently, he is continuing formation at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in St. Meinrad, Indiana, where he is pursuing a Masters of Divinity.

Anthony enjoys spending time with people and hearing their stories. He has been active in ministering to young people through several programs such as One Bread, One Cup (2012-2013) and Teens Encounter Christ (2012-present), in addition to giving or assisting with several retreats each year. He enjoys studying German, liturgy, history, and many other things. In his spare time, Anthony enjoys photography and writing, with much of his work appearing on his blog.

Mercy in the Midst of Horror

Just a few years ago, I was a snobby high school student. A group from my school was in Washington, DC, and part of the trip was going to a museum. The selected place was the National Holocaust Museum, but we were told that the group from my school could go to a different one, especially since none of us really wanted to go to the Holocaust museum.
