History of Church Part 3 - The 2nd century (100 AD to 200 AD)

A brief history of church from the beginning till 49 years AD (number of years afer the death of Christ)
1. God creates everything
2. God brings humans into existence in his image, Adam and Eve.
3. Adam and Eve are separated from God for sinning.
4. God comes back and says I want friendship with God's people. He appoints a holy person Abraham to be the leader and makes a promise of friendship called 'Old Covenant'.
5. God gives the "Ten Commands", the laws which is passed to God's chosen people through Moses.
6. God's people constantly break the law, thereby causing sin. God is hurt.
7. God tells Jeremiah, the holy prophet, that God will give birth to a Savior, to help people wash their sins and this time he will work directly in the people's hearts to come back to him. This promise by God is called the New Covenant.
8. Jesus is finally born of God through Virgin Mary. Note that Virgin Mary is yet not married, totally immaculately conceived with full purity. The Holy Spirit gives birth to Jesus as human being in the womb of Virgin Mary. Now Virgin Mary is also a Mother. She is Mother Mary.
9. Jesus at the age of 30 has a team of 12 followers. Jesus tells Peter, that through Peter, Jesus will build His church which cannot be destroyed till the end of times.
10. Jesus Christ is taken into custody for speaking up the truth and faces the severe beatings and wounds caused by the authorities. He is made to carry the heavy cross to a mount. There using heavy metal nails, he is hammered through his body and hung on the cross to die for hours. Jesus finally dies and gives up his life.
11. The New covenant promise given to Jeremiah comes true as predicted. Jesus, born of God finally washes the sins of his people through this passion and death.
12. To everyone's surprise, Jesus Christ is seen alive on third day after his death. Jesus remains with his followers for some time on earth. He tells that he is risen from the death and that the sins of those who believe are washed away. Those who believe are saved to go back to God in heaven forever. Its finally a good news for God's people.
13. Excitement builds up among all followers as Jesus is alive from death and He tells the followers that Holy Spirit will come after he has gone. The Holy Spirit will directly work inside the mind, heart and body of his people to stir their thinking, to help understand God's ways and bring back his people back to God.
14. The followers begin this new way of life in Christ telling everyone that God has washed the sins of people who believe in Jesus.
15. Jesus is seen rising in air to heaven by many people and then seen no more.
16. Jesus is no more admist the people on earth. Soon the strength has grown to 120 followers.
17. On one particular day, 120 followers feel the strong physical forceful power where they suddenly start speaking in various languages not known to them earlier. The power is so intense that some people say the followers have gone mad. The intense power of Holy Spirit had come on these followers. This day is called the Day of Pentecost.
18. The followers can feel the power of Holy Spirit all the time now. Holy Spirit guides directly through the heart, mind and tongue of people rather than written commands.
19. These new people of God who believe and follow Jesus are part of the new covenant and is called the CHURCH.
20. Peter a fisherman is the new elder around guiding the people of God. Since he is invariably leading, he is invariably the first Pope of the Church by default.
The CHURCH is formed, the FIRST POPE is there .. What happened after this? .. to be continued
