The Child Separation we should be fighting against

(A doctor-friend wanted to share this in the light of the extreme abortion on demand bill in NY State.)

I have handled human bodies and remains as a pathologist and this includes that in the earliest stage of life. Yes, as a pathology resident I have handled dozens, if not hundreds, of abortion samples. I was not in the Lord then, but I always revel in the perfection of the small hands and feet that I scoop from the formalin jar, the head that would always have the profile of the mouth slightly agape. Now I look back I realize perhaps why this is so. 

As an adult, would you volunteer being dismembered? I had a dream once where a research study sought volunteers to be eviscerated and people agreed, which left me thinking: You will die, dum-dum!

The carcasses I’ve handled are worse than in that dream. 

Would you be willing to have your limb amputated without anesthesia and not even with good surgical technique but just being clawed and pounded over and over? Yet here we have these babies given surgical removals of organs, portion by portion of their bodies, until the bucket of formalin have become human soup. 

Flesh tattered, torso hollowed, organs separated. They just had thoracic surgery, abdominal surgery, hepatectomy, nephrectomy, limb removal, exenteration, etc. etc. in one go, without anesthesia and without consent. 

No wonder after abortion the mother feels ripped apart too. She, who knows it is a child, but has been conditioned to think otherwise by a society that doesn't think parenthood and family worthy to make sacrifices for (career and money being a more worthy direction) will never bother much on the minutiae of the report we will issue--its volume, the foot length, etc. Better that it gets laid to rest, discarded for incineration like the rest of medical waste (Texas law has now changed this to give respectful burial in all abortion, thank God).

But the child once housed in her womb is no more. It was separated from her by her own hostility or fear and was dismembered by unthinking amoral doctors and encouraged by godless politicians and judges.

In the American context, a post-abortive woman lawyer desperate to be right no matter what (Sarah Weddington) faked a case and client (Norma MacCorvey, i.e. Roe) to get more abortions on the table and got on board judges (Ruth Baden Ginsburg) and politicians (Gov. Ann Richards whose daughter is Planned Parenthood President and post-abortive Cecille Richards) to exonerate her and her type by calling abortion a right.

What they have forgotten is this: the roots of their machinations will be laid bare. And Ecclesiastes give fine examples that nothing will endure that is not of the Lord. 

Earlier in a CT case (Griswold vs. Connecticut) two Planned Parenthood directors want to give contraceptives to married couples, a violation of state law. The Supreme Court at the federal level agreed with them, basing their decision on the "right to privacy", a right that is not guaranteed by the Constitution and made easy the passage of Roe vs. Wade which made abortion, like contraception to the couple, the purview of the woman child-bearer alone. (If there remains any doubt on the contraception-abortion connection, this is certainly one at the legal level.)

What the courts have essentially forgotten is this: marriage, as well as the acts of marriage like coitus and the subsequent pregnancy outcome, is for the social, and not merely personal, good. Thus everything that is promotive of that social good (care of the children, stability of society, health of the couple) should be furthered and everything that is not promotive, cancelled.
It is not the science was behind. Large scale studies from Puerto Rico in the 50's during beta-testing of contraceptives showed terrible side effects. It is because people preferred their pleasures and the secular courts (and many US priests and theologians) thought themselves better than God's herald (Pope Paul VI through Humanae Vitae, favoring the full giving and unity of the couple in love). 

To great disaster (divorce, abortion, pornography, objectification of women that US society are living in fifty years later) he was naturally shown correct. 

The samples in the jar, I sign them out after microscopic analysis: unremarkable liver, unremarkable, spleen, unremarkable heart, brain, pancreas, kidney and so on. These are perfect specimens of health. So, it is never an issue of babies' health no matter what chromosomal fear and reality mothers are put through in false-positive laden prenatal testing. Down's Syndrome persons are sometimes more perfect babies and adults. 

At the practical/ sociological/medical level, contraceptive practices just makes it easy to adopt abortion practices as well (and most contraception chemicals also abort as they are anti-implantation agents) and thus the rates of unsafe increase with "safe sex"/ contraception promotion, increase pregnancy rates, increase abortion, then increase the mental and physical mess these women are in from post-abortion syndrome. 

Like the undocumented underage and pregnant immigrant in a holding cell whose female lawyer fought for her right to have an abortion, she did so and was traumatized. She is now one of the women left in tatters by the abortion brigade, the mother now-and-always of a child who never saw the light of day because the legal climate of the country finds him better off as a gutter feed.
