Love: Where I Can Stand Up (Poem)

I am not afraid anymore

I am not a kid that follows order because of fear

He made me understand

I am free

I am not an observant anymore

I have mind, body, and soul

I have voice, I can speak

I am  growing

There is someone that guides me

He trust me, I trust Him

He is not controlling

I respect and honor Him

He cheers for me everyday

He loves me even more in my most bitter and trying days

I am Me, and He taught me to fight

He is honest and never cheats

Indeed, He taught me how to surrender and love

He is my friend, parents, siblings, and lover

I rest in Him in everyday battles

Heals me now and forever

I can, because He choose me

I will never give up

I can, because I choose

I can stand up

I will reach my goals and purpose

I walk by faith and not by sight

He choose love

He choose us

He told us " I love you, and you are mine"

Let's thank Him

In His arms where we belong
