A Personal Witness that Miracles really do happen; Thank God!

The clocks have gone forward and we are officially in springtime, even although the weather is not always in conformance with the season.
The days are brighter and walks through the park are back on the agenda. This is a beautiful feeling after a long winter, and to be enjoyed as often as possible in between the rainy days, of which there are many where we live in Scotland. We also have some of the most beautiful countryside in the world and our scenic routes up into the north are breath taking and all this is helped by the generous helping of rain. So I won’t complain.
On beautiful days like this an appreciation of our beautiful world starts to flow through your veins again and your mood gets brighter and all this with a re-emergence of the sun.
We remember how beautiful creation is when the sun shines on it and Gratitude for these gifts start to fill your heart.
Being Christian is not always easy these days, especially since secularisation of society appears to be getting stronger day by day, and reports in the media seems to take away at every opportunity, the relevance of God. So there is little or no mention of him at all, never mind giving him credit for anything.
I noticed recently on Facebook a friend’s timeline showed a conversation about how old hat Christianity was and that we still actually teach Creationism and not evolution????
This, I might add, was from someone who had been married in the Church.
But I wondered how people can attribute all that is beautiful in the world to evolution solely when, for me, it is plain and simple and staring us in the face.
As Christians we can certainly reason God into the picture. No matter how many people say otherwise, for me it is there in many guises on a daily basis. Yet when asked “Where did the world come from?” to often the answer is "A big bang."
If that were the case, what about the flowers, the birds and the bee’s, the animals, the sea and sky? Did all these wonders just appear from nothing?
And then there are us Human beings. Where on earth did we spring from with our many shapes and sizes, our different colours and various natures, our likes and dislikes etc.?
Take for instance the complexity of the human eye. It has been described as a complex miracle of nature, such is the intricacy of its design and the wonder it brings to the owner. There is also our Brain which encompasses the central nervous system, with neurotransmitters that send instructions to the rest of the body, and complex structures that organise our very thoughts and feelings. The marvel of this is immense. How could we, as mere human beings, be totally responsible for such a miracle? It doesn’t make sense.
But if we bring God into the equation, He who is omnipotent and all powerful, well, that puts a very different slant to everything.
His love, it soars like the wings of a dove
The God of Wonder, the God of love
Who is part of the mysteries and miracles below
His sacred scriptures can plainly show
That this old World didn’t come about
From a big bang theory without much clout
A house that’s built no-one would think
Its’ very existence came about in a wink
Or the metal pieces of a jumbo jet plane
Or the carriage of a commuter train
Its common sense that for every creation
A creator is needed for its very formation
Yet, for all the beauty this world can display
Our people are somehow filled with dismay
So look at the world from his point of view
And give credence to God and his word sent to you
For the gifts that he gave us in six days, his best
And then in his wisdom on the seventh day did rest.
To delight in his kingdom, his work and his love
For the body of Christ, Heaven sent from above
We should treasure his world, his sheep and all things
Give thanks to our God the king of all kings.
The Glory and honour the praise and the fame
To him who merits the highest name.
It’s necessary for us believers to feed ourselves with what we need to hear, the chances of us seeing or hearing it in the normal media are slim to non-existent, so to compensate for that we could tune into the Christian Channels such as EWTN but also read and meditate on the word of God in the bible, so I want to share with you some of the meditations that show who is the creator of the world.
The benefits are immense, you find a closer, richer union with God and it gives a
Peace the world cannot give which is priceless, so I hope you enjoy them.
Meditation of Sacred Scriptures that show the creator of the world
Job 12: V 7-10
But ask the animals and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky and they will tell you
Or speak to the earth and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you
Which of all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done all this?
In his hand are the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind

Job 37: V 14-16
Listen to this Job; stop and consider Gods wonders. Do you know how God controls the clouds and makes his lightning flash? Do you know how the clouds hang poised, those wonder of him who has perfect knowledge?
……………………………
Psalm 104: V 24-25
How many are your works, LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures
There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number – living things both large and small.
……………………………
Romans 1: V 20
For since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities –his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse

God has made it clear to us how this world came about. He has lavished his love on us and provided everything that we need. He left it up to us to enjoy, to nurture and most importantly to love and cherish. So let us be grateful for our world this long awaited summer and enjoy our gifts from God. Praise Jesus!
