Sorrowful Mysteries - The Agony in the Garden

Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father, the Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth...And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate and was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell, and on the third day, He rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty and from thence, He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints and the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting........with every essence of my being and without a doubt in my mind. Amen.
Our Father
Our Father, who are in Heaven...and on this earth, right beside us, right now..
Hallowed by Thy name...from which everything came to be in birth to death, simply by Your Word...
Thy kingdom come....for it is the destination for which You created us, and by Your Son's submission of His life, we are allowed the grace of completing this journey into eternal life.
Thy will be done....done in us, done to us, done through us, no matter what....
On earth as it is in Heaven....for You are the Master of all and deserving of all glory, honor and praise.
Give us this day our daily bread...Your nourishing grace, the leaven of Your love, the substance of Your spirit, fortified by Your Word.
And forgive us our trespasses...all of our transgressions against Your commandments...in what we have done and what we have failed to do.
As we forgive those who trespass against us.....for You give us Jesus' example of forgiveness as a model for our lives and a measure of our compliance to His command to love one another. We not only forgive, but give thanks for every trespass over our lives, every trail of trials You set before our feet to gauge the steadfastness of our love for You.
Lead us not into temptation...for we are weak...we are dust which can be swept up in a cloud of emotions, scattering our noble intentions into particles of impurity which blow us farther away from You.
But deliver us from evil...from every thought, word or deed which separates us from the image of Your likeness from which we were created, and which jeopardizes our goal of reunification with You.
Amen....So be it, Father. I accept Your divine will today and for as many tomorrows as You give me.
Hail Mary
Hail May....Helllo, dear Mother of God's only Son...my mother, given to me at the foot of the cross by the authority of Jesus who said, "Behold your Mother."
Full of Grace...overshadowed by the Holy Spirit, bearer of the Word Incarnate, a model of submission and trust in the Will of the God who works wonders in our lives with our simple "Yes" in collaboration with His plan.
The Lord is with you...the means to fulfillment of God's plan, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the human tabernacle of Jesus Christ, true God and true man.
Blessed are you, among women,...for the creation of you, for your sinless life, for the life you gave up in dedication to Our Father who chose you as the vessel to carry the victory of our salvation. We honor now, and always, the great gift of yourself to us and for us. Mother, how special you are to us and so deserving of your child's love and appreciation forever.
And blessed is the fruit of your womb....the flesh and blood formed in your womb, which shed this flesh and blood for our sins, and signed the claim of our heavenly inheritance with his blood in barter for his life.
Holy Mary....yes,, you are holy indeed, infused with a grace and a mission given to no other human in the past, present or future of this world...by God and for God alone were you created...through Him, with Him and in Him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor be yours, Almighty Father, forever and ever.
Mother of God....your being proclaims the goodness of the Lord and your spirit rejoices in God our Savior. The Almighty has done great things to you, in you and through you ...and Holy is His name...and your name as Mother of the Holy One.
Pray for us sinners....Sweet sinless Mother, because of your special bond with our Heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit, and with our Lord Jesus Christ, we can approach you and ask you to pray for us, to interceed for us in placing our petitions before the very throne of God, at the very pierced feet of your Son. And as you did at Cana in going to your Son with the worries and petitions fo the wedding party, putting the problem before Him and demanding that whatever He directs be done...and even though He could have stuck by His statement that it was not His time....He still performed miracles for you at your request. Because no one comes to the Father except through Him, and because of His boundless love for you, we ask you to pray for us.
Now and at the hour of our death....because God's Word illustrates how you, though troubled by the words of an angel in wondering how you could possibly fulfill God's expectations, accepted what was asked of you. You kept all the joys and sufferings of a mother, of the special Mother of God, in your heart until it was broken from the torment and death of your Son. God gave you the privllege to be there, Mary, at the birth, death and victory of Our Lord, so be with us at our death...be our Advocate in commending us to the Father and Son, through the grace of the Holy Spirit.
Mother, we ask that you mold us and form us into the image of your Son. Take our hand, as you clasped the little hand of Jesus...direct our feet...encourage us, support us, and lead us to your Son and our famiy reunion in Heaven.
Amen...so be it Mother. We rush to cling to your mantle..hide us and protect us from evil and wrap us in your cloak so that we may imitate your example. Do not let us out of your sight. Embrace us with your motherly love, nourish us as we place our tiny helpless selves in your care, and help us to grow, that we may please our Father and be made worthy of the promises of Jesus Christ.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit....All honor, glory and praise to the Triune God!
As it was in the beginning...when God created the world and populated it with people in His image and likeness to honor and serve him according to His divine plans.
is now and ever shall be...beause a new Eve named Mary dedicated her life in honor and obedience to God, and a new Adam named Jesus was given dominion over this Earth and commanded that we love and honor God and one another, and then sacrificed his life in reparation of the sins that separated us from God's love...
world without end..... we are called into an everlasting life of love, honor and praise, now and forever.
Amen.
