A Near-Hit In Another Sense Of The Word--WYD And Sacrifice

A reader named pinoymass shared how surprised she was to discover her comments made for news articles in Philippine newspapers, Inquirer and Philippine Star, never made to to publication. It was not that her comments were rude, but they were truthful. She gave evidence along various topics. It seems that because they were pro-life, anti-judicial killing, anti-condom, anti-marijuana, anti-Masonry, pro-church, they merited the cut. These were comments that were either PENDING (unpublished indeifnitely) or REMOVED

The US Bishops in their publication Putting Children and Families First (1991) II.A announced that "the United States has the highest divorce rate, the highest teen-age pregnancy rate, the highest child poverty rate, and the highest abortion rate in the Western World." Can revisionists see the role that contraceptive sex might play in these realities? Many, even some of his detractors, have called Pope Paul VI a prophet for his predictions about what would happen if contraception became widely available. Peter Hebblethwaite noted that many dismissed Paul VI's claim that contraception "could open the way to marital infidelity and a general lowering of morality" (Humanae Vitae 17).[11] Hebblethwaite chides those who thought that contraception could be confined to responsible use within marriage. He also bemoans the use of forced contraception and abortion in some third world countries. Hebblethwaite also recognizes that the dissenters were to quick to dismiss the importance of living in accord with nature; he cites natural childbirth and ecology and acknowledges that women are asking "Why should I have to stuff my body with pills that have possibly harmful consequences, especially when there is another way to space births which uses greater self-knowledge."

Napakalaking kamalian naman kung mangagaya lang ang bansang Pilipinas sa paganong Amerika na nagkamali na nga. Please pray that the RH supporters be converted to Christ as I have.

CDC confirms that "safe" sex using condoms breeds unsafe sex, hence the rise of HIV and multidrug resistant STD organisms. Naturally because people in that risky situation enticed to be "pseudo safe" due to condoms will regress and throw caution to the wind every once in a while. Thus, better have abstinence if you are not married and monogamous. Thank you for a great article.

“I hate pot. I hate it even more than hard drugs. I’ve taught high school for 25 years and I hate what marijuana does to my students. It goes beyond missing homework assignments. My students become less curious when they start smoking pot. I’ve seen it time and time again. People say pot makes you more creative, but from what I’ve seen, it narrows my students’ minds until they only reference the world in relation to the drug. They’ll say things like: “I went to the beach and got so high,” or “I went to a concert and got so high.” They start choosing their friends based on the drug. I hate when people say that it’s just experimenting. Because from what I’ve seen, it’s when my students stop experimenting.”

Do spirits permanently leave this world after 40 days?

If you believe in God, there are only three types of being--God, man and angels. The soul of man who dies goes to heaven (or hell) to be judged with finality (for total destruction forever or eternal bliss) at the Second Coming. The good angels have already a place in heaven; the bad angels obviously gets their punishment, having chosen freely to follow Lucifer rather than God There are no reincarnation and all this talk of spiritism in this column is really not holy or of God because any earthly "spirit" manifestation is only theologically compatible with evil spirits, not the soul of the deceased unless summoned.
Leviticus 20:6 'As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists, to play the harlot after them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people."
Inquirer will benefit by publishing edifying, theologically sound and virtuous information instead of New Age crock which is dangerous to the soul.

Sadly, those who control the media this way, even from Catholic publishers of this papers, hinder the truth, and guess what? They who prevent others from hearing the truth are the first to suffer."But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven from men; for you do not enter yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in." (Matthew 23:13).
