Sacramentals

Having trouble getting to Mass on time? Plan on a visit to Jesus personally before Mass. What a Blessing!
Visiting our Blessed Sacrament Chapel at our Abbey really is a blessing to my life. When I visit there before Mass, He in turn visits with me during the week. The truth is in our diocese (I read this years ago online) we are supposed to do it.
I’m not the best at doing it regularly. When I was a kid, the Church Tabernacle was in the Sanctuary, so I’m used to that. However, should there be another conspicuous place, I'm to visit there first. A little jog on the way; genuflect there and after, while entering the Sanctuary bow toward the altar.
One time before Mass, while talking with a friend, she said that she has to go say "hi" to Jesus. Saying "hi" to Jesus? That’s an interesting way to put it.
It’s true! We say "hello" to Jesus. We say "hello" to a Greeter or Pastor at times. So ... why not greet Jesus a little before Mass? He's there.
The Bible says He greets us: “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” from Romans Chpt. 1, NIV.
