God Has a Plan

Does the Lord see me here at home alone as I quietly clean the kitchen and wash the floors? Does he know the thoughts of my mind and the desire within my heart as I go about my chores? Does he bring the little red bird to peck on my window pane every morning and sing on my chimney at midday? All my movements, all my experience taken into account. Am I listening? Am I seeing? Am I receiving His gifts of grace?
In the stillness I feel His movement within and without. He knows my every thought and every step I take. Deep within I am aware the Lord knows the desire of my heart. When the little red bird sings, I hear the Lord calling me by name. "It's time to pray", I hear him say, "And walk by my side".
"Find your delight in the Lord who will give you the desire of your heart (Psalm 37: 4)".
