The Rebellion

All around us are victims of an industry known as Human Trafficking. These victims hide in plain sight and need your help to be delivered from captivity.
Lets take a moment to look over a few facts about Human Trafficking.
Its time for believers to fight the silence.
Proverbs 31:8-9 tells us to "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."
It is our duty to SPEAK and DEFEND the rights of these victims who have been forced into captivity and to be a voice of hope and restoration in this fallen world.
For many of us, we don't know where to begin when it comes to becoming an advocate for the victims of the global trafficking industry. The first place to start is prayer.
The next time you attend service, take the time to put Human Traffficking victims on your parish prayer list. Take the time to engage your church family about the issues of human trafficking and encourage them to pray for the victims individually.
Prayer shouldn't end with just prayers for the victims. We should also pray that God equip us with the ability to be hands of restoration in the earth and to use the power of the spirit to engage and set free those in captivity in whatever capacity we are able.
The next thing to do is become familiar with identifying signs of trafficking in you're area.
There are tons of online sources that can equip you with the knowledge needed to spot victims and signs of human trafficking.
Human trafficking degrades and often destroys human lives that are made in the image of God.
It turns our brothers and sisters into commodities –sexual objects that can be bought, sold, used and discarded. No human made in God's image should be treated this way.
I pray that you will help us fight the silence and strongly encourage you to research how human trafficking may be immediately impacting your area.
