Federal Government decides on Gay/Lesbian marriage
Just a thought.... How many people understand what an Oath is? And how it differs from a contract?!
A contract is an agreement between 2 or more people, where one promises a goods or service to the other, usually in exchange for something, right? Once that contractual agreement has been fulfilled they are through, end of contract....
But an oath is something much more serious, and much deeper.
The word oath actually originates from Biblical days and it is a solemn promise between persons, and God is the witness. An oath is a type of promise that comes with consequences from God if not carried out as agreed.
The Bible is an Oath/Covenant. Time and again we broke those oaths/covenants and had to face the punishment that was attached to the Oath. Its not that God wanted to punish us, it's that it was part of the agreement that God cannot break. He keeps His word, where we usually don't.
Marriage is an Oath, it is an agreement between persons with God as the witness, which brings me to my point.....Every time we break an oath, there is a consequence right?
So do the American Citizens not think that some of the things going on in our country are punishment for going down a bad road? We disobey and God takes away our blessings.
Now it was recently announced that the Federal Government will decide if gay/lesbian marriages are legal. But this is more than a legal issue. Our Politicians have taken an oath, with God as witness, to uphold what is right and true. Do not think I am being judgmental, that is NOT what I am doing or saying. If you choose to be an active gay/lesbian person, you are no less a person than anyone else. However, your actions are a sin. I am not the one that says this, GOD SAID IT! God is real, true and is going to return.
Our country in the last couple years has gotten a lot worse by my perspective, in everything from terrorism to the economy, suicidal kids, people massacring each other. Unless we start to live by the laws of our Creator, it will never get better, and only continue down into the abyss.
I pray that people wake up and realize that our future IS truly in our hands, and we all have had a hand in making it what it is today. God Bless!

I have been married for 33 years. We had 3 children, 2 daughters, and one son. My daughters now grown have blessed us with 7 beautiful grandchildren, 2 boys, and 5 gorgeous girls. They are my joy.
