The Diner Evangelist

Since my childhood, my listening and talking in Diners, Cafes and Pancake Houses makes Evangelization just come naturally. Also, there's a certain social acquiesce tolerated by the single Coffee Counter Perchers that allows for stretching into taboo dinner talk. Religious banter, the economy and politics flow as thick and easily as the coffee creamer.

Folks breaking the ice while breaking bread. Searching Catholics saying they expect more Bible explaining in our churches and my saying we have Daily Mass. There is an acceptable appreciation there that one might not get elsewhere.

My being a Roaming Roman Catholic makes for a 'been there, done that' understanding that is helpful in appreciation. However, the small business coffee clutch impromptu gathering makes for a springboard into evangelization. Where patrons are used to taking action, and we do! Praise the Lord!
