Four Simple Principles to Cope with COVID – 19

I often wonder what heaven would be like, and when I do, images of loved ones long deceased basking in God’s love come into mind. I also wonder how different heaven would be than earth. One of the key components of an every day life on earth is hope; yet hope sees no purpose in heaven.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1Corinthians 13:13
This verse teaches us that faith and hope have been fulfilled in heaven and we won't have to have faith or hope, because we will be completely fulfilled of these graces in heaven. So in reality, if we don’t have to hop,e but rather know in our hearts that God will fulfill every wish of our heart, we can create a heavenly peace in our hearts.
Now hope is not a bad thing, since Romans 5:3-5 states “suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Hope can be that flame in our heart, which guides us along our journey of life. When we accept that hope has a joyous grace to know God is in control, it can bring us closer to God.
In the longest and most systematic unfolding of apostle Paul’s thoughts unveiling God’s righteousness, Paul mentions the proper way of hope is to hope joyfully - “So let us be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer”. – Romans 12:12
