Carrying A Heavy Load

Sometimes we go through something that sucks the life out of us. Sometimes we go through something that we can’t even wrap our head around. Sometimes we go through something that makes us see we need to cherish life and what we have been blessed with.
Yesterday, an innocent 3 year old was called home to Jesus after a battle with cancer. It’s hard to comprehend. It’s hard to wrap heads around that. It’s hard to understand the why of it. It’s easier to look at it and want to cherish life. It’s easier to look at it and feel more love and appreciation for what and who we’ve been given.
We’re only given one life. Sometimes it lasts long, but in some cases, it doesn’t. And it’s up to us to make an impact on this world every day. It’s up to us to tell others how we feel towards them, and make others feel loved. It’s up to us to have a grateful heart and to look at what we’ve been given instead of what we don’t have. It’s up to us to add to life before it’s too late. Our lives may last a while, but they may not too. Cherish what and who you have while you are still here.
