Realize It

Jesus died on the cross to save us all. He went through more pain and more suffering than any of us can fathom. He fell. He got dirty. He got mocked. He was beaten. He had big nails pounded into His hands. His feet were tied together. He found it hard to breathe, and to speak. He could have easily not went through any of that. But He did. He showed us all what love is. He gave us a better life. He saved us. He gave us a reason to hope, and to have faith in what is coming. He chose to give us grace. Not enough people realize the sacrifice of that day. Not enough people realize what Jesus went through.

Not enough people realize the love that day. Not enough people realize the value of that moment; that moment when Jesus breathed his last. Not enough people realize the great gift of God's grace, and also His mercy. Realize it. Realize what Jesus did. Realize what love is. Realize that you have been given God's grace. Realize that a great sacrifice took place on Good Friday. Realize how different this Holy week could have been. Realize your faith.
