A Personal Witness that Miracles really do happen; Thank God!

It was a normal Sunday morning and I was at 11.30 Mass, as normal. The Priest had walked down the isle to the altar with the Deacon and altar servers at his side, as normal, and my oldest daughter and two children had slipped into the pew beside me and this was also normal.
At this point, I breathed a sigh of relief as I knew it was not easy for my girl to struggle with a 4 year old and baby in arms. Especially on a morning when her Husband was working in another country, and so to make it to Mass on time was an achievement on its own.
We settled into the seat and I got my focus on the Prayers we were saying and started to profess my Catholic faith with the Apostles Creed, as normal .......
Only this time, some of the words stood out in BIG BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS at .......I believe in God the Father the almighty Creator of Heaven and Earth and in Jesus Christ his only son our Lord etc ..... and the big emphasis ......
he ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father ......Lord above......there in front of my mind's eye I could visualise the scene these words created.
All of a sudden, there was a realisation that, at that very moment in time, Our Lord Jesus was really in Heaven and really sitting at the right hand side of his Father.......who is God ....... our Father .........
Well, my emotions seemed to take on a life of their own. What with feelings of ......contentment, peace, happiness, security, a wee bit scared... flooding through me as I stood there in St. Paul's Chapel in the East End of Glasgow.
Oh My God, how beautiful.......these words kept repeating in my mind for a minute or two, and I wanted to tell my daughter what had happened, but what would she say? Would she be as emotional as me? Would she think I was crazy, or even a religious maniac?
Well, somehow I managed to calm myself a little and realised that I would need to hold onto this for a while longer and workout how to speak it out to her. But for the time being, I would relish the knowledge that Our Lord Jesus had allowed me that beautiful glimpse of Faith, and I am so happy to say that since that day, there have been some more beautiful experiences that are similar to that....... but they will be for another blog.
God Bless and Praise Jesus.........
