God and Tears

One of the most touching, and most heart-warming experiences I have with my best friend, a fellow Catholic is helping each other through times of tears. During those times, it's hard to forget how much God has to do with tears, or the fact that He is always with us. It's easy to forget in those times that we're here, especially during those times, those times when we are sad, vulnerable and in need that to be Christ to one another. We are here to help dry those tears just like it says in the Bible. We are here to comfort one another.

Regardless of what we think during those times, there is a comfort knowing that God wants to dry our tears. It's a comfor that He gave us those for such healing. It's a comfort knowing that in those times, He is with us. He is our comfort. And like the warm embrace from my best friend, God is there giving us all the same one with His arms of love. Like my best friend, He is there to help dry them.

In times of sadness, go to Him. Be open to His embrace. Let Him dry your tears. Cry out to Him and talk to Him as you talk to a friend in times of sadness and tears. He is waiting.
