The Fourth Commandment - Part 2
The Preaching of Morality
Submitted by Thomas Stidl
Frankly, I would like to hear more preaching on the morality of abortion, the morality of the 'Trans' movement, and the morality of mass migration. Let's begin with the last one first. I have heard that people are not pro-life unless we support mass migration. This is totally wrong. I am strongly pro-life, but, I do not support mass migration. I realize that the Catholic Church has great concerns for impoverished people as do I, but, inviting these people into our country without proper vetting and the following of our immigration laws is the wrong approach. With the national debt approaching forty trillion dollars, our nation cannot afford the extra cost. It is time for Catholic Charities to make a person's lot better in their home countries. The United States of America does not need to drain our medicaid and social welfare safety net on people from a foreign country while our own citizens could use extra help with their own needs. Enough is enough. My great grand parents, grand parents, and father did not receive one cent in aid when they emigrated to this country. They came through Ellis Island and made a life for themselves independent of government and religious organizations. They learned English and became American citizens. As far as I am concerned, Catholic Charities should spend their money through the missions that they have in other countries. My own diocese has missions in Latin America. Let's fix the problem there and not here. Let Catholic Charities supply the social network for these countries instead of the United States and make a better life for all.
The second topic is the 'Trans' movement. Just because a man thinks that he is female does not give him the right to compete in women's sports or undress in a female locker room. If my biblical recall is correct, God made us either male or female. He did not make us somewhere in between or make males female or females male. None of us have the right to alter our natural gender identification with either surgical removal of certain parts of the body or surgical additions to our body. This is sacrilegious. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and should never be altered for such a purpose. It is up to each diocese to create a department to handle this problem with extreme care and sensitivity so that God's natural law can be upheld.
The third topic is abortion. No child should be aborted. This includes the Morning After pill of which I understand creates the greatest amount of abortions. Please understand that the moment a sperm and an egg cell unite, new life has begun. This is just not another blob of cells. At the unity of sperm and egg, a soul enters that body. Immediately, the cells begin to divide, and another human being begins to grow to become a full human being. Maybe if we stopped all abortions, we would have enough people in this country to support our aging population. All abortions are wrong. Consider adoption for that beautiful child within you if you feel that you cannot take care of him or her.
The preaching on these topics is simple. Use the above explanations and urge people to vote against politicians who support abortion, the 'Trans' movement, and mass migration. Voting for people who support these three behaviors gives you moral culpability for the above sins.
Until next time, Laus Tibi, Christe. Laus Deo. Deo Gratias. See you in
Paradise. Amen.
