As we approach Easter let our focus be on Christ and not on ourselves.
Can we believe that modern wars will correct the evils that exist?
The Blessed Mother warned the children at Fatima regarding WW I and if only the people would turn back to the rosary and begin to seek the intercession of Christ her son to intercede with a faith that seemed to disappear. Perhaps she might come again with a similar warning.
Recently, Pope Leo XIV came out adhering to the war that has placed the world at Satan’s door by destroying mankind in ways that have been promised by centuries of people who are really the soldiers of the devil’s angels. Destroying the Church and the rest of humanity will soon follow with a sure and certain direction of hell since the Apostasy of 2026 is at its highest pinnacle. Currently we are contending with the war in Iran.
When Christ died for the sins of mankind he wasn’t including the winners of any war to be exempt from redemption. The manifestation of the final war with Christ leading the army of saints is not what He came to inaugurate for humanity, but it must occur since the might of evil through ways to hurt our fellow human-beings seems to be the only tool man has at his finer-tips to show who is the superior man or woman that will bring the world to a climatic end. (cf Rv 19: 11 ff).
Pope at Easter: “Jesus showed nonviolence is true power over evil.” Celebrating the joy of Christ’s resurrection, Pope Leo XIV said the faithful cannot be indifferent or resign themselves to the evil in the world. To “make the cry for peace that springs from our hearts must be heard, ”he announced he is inviting everyone to join him in a special prayer vigil for peace, to be celebrated in St. Peter’s Basilica April 11. (copied from an announcement by Carol Glatz; April 5, 2026). As of this writing April 11 has passed.
Vatican City - Appealing to those in power to end all conflicts through dialogue and not domination, Pope Leo XIV urged humanity to stop growing accustomed to wars and violence.
In his homily for Easter, Pope Leo XIV said, “death is always lurking. We see it present in injustices, in partisan selfishness, in the oppression of the poor, in the lack of attention given to the most vulnerable.” The question that prevails is, “Are we, the powerful, supposed to control the evil connotations of evil people who decide that they are like God?
For any regime to execute its citizens for standing up to protest the tyrannical opinions of its leaders is in itself an abuse of the grace that God gave them as leaders. This cannot continue as it has become the very direct action of Satan to inflict unrest and violence among its own. This very indication of current abuse to its citizens is Iran who executed thousands of its own people for protesting against tyranny.
By recalling the commandment, “You shall not kill,” our Lord asked for peace of heart and denounced murderous anger and hatred as immoral. Anger is a desire for revenge. ”To desire vengeance in order to do evil to someone who should be punished is illicit,” but it is praiseworthy to impose restitution “to correct vices and maintain justice.” If anger reaches the point of a deliberate desire to kill or seriously wound a neighbor, It is gravely against charity; it is a mortal sin. The Lord says, “Everyone who is angry with his brother shall be liable to judgement.” (CCC 2302).
When any of us decides to pick the side of so-called justice compliance entities in the name of world peace; do not tell everyone who is listening it is the object of Jesus Christ to commit bombs and the content of evil actions in order to find peace that cannot come from the need to destroy an enemy. Are we in a position of exercising world power by using this very strength to overcome the sovereignty of other nations and make us the monster of evil that may be the hidden entity of what the bible refers to as antichrist? This term is not new, and the 21st century may very well reveal his identity.
