What is Beyond our Understanding?
What’s Ahead for the Catholic Church and the souls she is guardian for?
We often hear about the “End Times” and so many prophets of doom appear to rise up from hidden walls of fear that promote the shields of spiritual blindness. It isn’t a put down on the manner many concerned people warn the rest of humanity regarding the scenes from the Book of Daniel or Revelation and the imminence of being prepared. However there will be a surprise to how the many non-believers will react if they are around when the Son of God appears as depicted in Revelation. “Then I saw the heavens open, and there was a white horse: its rider was called “Faithful and True.” He judges and wages war in righteousness. His eyes were like a fiery flame, and on his head were many diadems. He had a name inscribed that no one knows except himself. He wore a cloak that had been dipped in blood, and his name was called the Word of God. He has a name written on his cloak and on his thigh, "King of kings and Lord of lords.” (Rv 19: 11 - 13, 16).
Will there be a time when the virtue of faith is to be challenged when too many might face what so many are going to disbelieve; because their attraction to the dark side is the only direction that they are looking at. In those times there will be the thoughts of non-believers who will cry out to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of their wrath has come and who can withstand it?” (Rv 6: 16 - 17).
Darkness; the one entity that God immediately corrected. “In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless wasteland, and darkness covered the abyss, while a mighty wind swept over the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light.” and there was light. (Gn 1: 1 - 3). Of course the very Light would be the Incarnation of Christ who came so that man would not have to become connected to darkness because of sin.
It is through sin that darkness exists and the darkness will be the symbol of evil without any release except through the washing away by the Blood Of Christ which is what the Church promotes through the Holy Eucharist of the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord through the Consecration of his holiness. This is the truth that will sustain our soul and the Catholic Church is the guardian of that truth.
