Paul,
I was also.revolted by the president's Easter morning post. While I realize that you are a new Catholic, the Holy Father's "sins of omission" merit your attention.
- Faithful Catholics in China were abandoned by Pope Francis. He also seemed to ignore the devout Nigerian Catholics slaughtered by Islamists.
- Pope Leo should correct his predecessor's promotion of heterodox Jesuits James Martin and Cardinal "Tucho" Fernandez, as well as former Jesuit Marko Rupnik. In my view, the faculties of each should be suspended.
- In annual addresses to the Roman Rota, St Pope JP II & Pope B 16 struck me as growing fearful of incorrect declarations of marital nullity. Francis did not seem to have such qualms. From Pope Leo's own address to the Rota, I am unclear as to which of his predecessors he will follow.
- Pope Francis suppressed the Latin Mass, and Pope Leo appears to be doing little to change that.
- Via Fiducia Supplicans, Pope Francis struck me as absurdly trying to.equate gay couples with Holy Matrimony! Pope Leo needs to correct the damage done by his predecessor.
