Offerings

Do I offer to You Lord my whole day

When I awake until at lights end I slumber

Every task do I offer and pray

Striving then to always do better

For all you have created is so unbelievably perfect

That is but us for we have been given free-will

All else offer glory and true respect

The table the tree a lion a seagull

Our bodies and minds so incredible

Yet we continue to hide out of our pride and vanity

We spend our time in sloth and lull

Yes I confess we live in vain glory

Offering then to You Father all is what we must do

For without You we are nothing indeed

So today right now let us all begin anew

And offer each and every minute of each day to You

Amen
