What Justice Issue Is God Placing On Your Heart?
Sometimes we have to believe in something before we see it. Jesus’ resurrection was that for Thomas. The resurrections of our own lives are often those situations we must believe are coming before we see in our actual lives.
For so long God encouraged me to believe my resurrected life was coming. Year after year I didn’t see it. I struggled to keep the belief that it would happen when nothing manifested. You could say I had moments of being a doubting Thomas, but also a believing Mary. But I knew, I just knew, that I had to keep believing it was going to happen through my prolonged Good Friday and Holy Saturday experiences.
Then finally this year, we saw it. We saw the resurrected life pour forth, just as God promised it would.
Now we can say, blessed are we who believed and did not see at first, but now see God's resurrected life come alive in our lives.
We are all doubting Thomase’s and believing Mary’s on this journey, but may we all have a little more "Mary" in us than Thomas.
