Uptodate "To Do" List for Pope Leo XIV

About a year ago, I proposed a "to do" list, which I would like to revisit:

• Pope Francis' treaty with Communist China effectively abandoned faithful Catholics.  What are you doing for Jimmy Lai and other victims?  Please speak in depth with Cardinal Zen and find your voice!

• Pope Francis appeared to ignore the plight of the incredibly devout Nigerian Catholics being slaughtered by Islamists.  American President Donald Trump has received little credit for his efforts to improve the situation.

• Pope Francis promoted grossly unqualified and heterodox Jesuits like James Martin and Tucho Fernandez. Former Jesuit Marko Rupnik has been allowed to continue as a priest despite voluminous sexual allegations against nuns!  These men should have their priestly faculties suspended.

• I have long been a reader of the annual addresses from the Holy Father to the Roman Rota.  Both St Pope JP II & Pope B 16 seemed increasingly  fearful of incorrect declarations of nullity.  Yet, Pope Francis changed course and expedited processes.  From your own address of January to the Rota, I am unclear as to which of your predecessors you will most closely follow.  So much more needs to be done to help all marriages!

• Pope Francis suppressed the Latin Mass & seemed to try to sneekily equate gay couples with Holy Matrimony!  Doing that would be an extreme example of a clericalism, which fails to appreciate the holiness of the Sacrament of Marriage!
