The Carmelite Order
Endurance is the key. Temptation will always try to have its way with us, but we must be strong. Covering ourselves with the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ and the armor He has provided us within the Commandments. The enduring importance of obeying every Commandment that He gave that day to Moses. Promising that those who keep His Commandments will be allowed to enter into His Kingdom. The whole purpose of these laws are to Love God and Love our neighbor. God instills in each of these Commandments His own words. Just as a servant obeys his employer in doing the job that they were hired to do, so must we obey Our God in His Holy Ten Commandments. Each deals with respect and obligation to love God and love our neighbor, the way He intended all mankind to live. In doing so, we prove our love for the great bridegroom who asks us lovingly to be His and His alone. A beautiful uniting of hearts to join us to Him and His Holy Family.
His Words are the Commandments. To be heeded and revered as law. He would not have imposed such important details for the Salvation of our Souls if He did not think it was quite necessary
10 simple yet powerful commands, is all He asks of us. In those commands we trust, that we are being led by the greatest Commander of them all.
