Narcissism pride gluttony

Give me more power

Yes and more money

Selfishness avarice sloth

I want to just lay here and sleep

I simply detest those of the Cloth

Jesus I’ve failed

These vices they have me

Forever will I be locked up and jailed

But wait You say heed the virtues

I must see take a gander

This could be really great news

Humility liberality chastity

My way out I now pray

Let me learn to give lovingly

Meekness temperance diligence

Love all my sisters and brothers

Jesus now do Your Words make sense

Give up what I truly don’t need

To really and truly be generous

No longer hampered by greed

Yes and trusting in You Jesus my Lord

For Your Will is truly the Way

Remembering that I must always listen and heed Your Word
