At last Saturday's Evangelium Vitae 30 conference, Dan was asking people why truth on the sanctity of human life (to say nothing of truth of the sanctity of the transmission of human life) isn't getting better proclaimed. To be blunt, the clergy and lay employees of the Archdiocese need to stare themselves in the mirror for that answer.
We have lived in the Archdiocese for about three and a half decades. Only when I attended St Charles (as a lay person) did I experience the sanctity of human life and its transmission treated with the seriousness they deserve. Heck, they are not even mentioned in the article about the "Day of Prayer for Peace"!
