What are we doing for Lent?

Lent is upon us once more. It is a time of year when we reflect, and we prepare for the death and resurrection of Christ. Often, it is a time when we sacrifice something to honor Christ's sacrifice. While this is great, it is also important that we not only stop doing something negative or pleasurable, but also do something hard that is positive. This can mean donating part of each paycheck, volunteering on a Saturday, or even reading 5 articles about faith each week. Lent is not meant to be just a time of not doing, but also a time of action.
