Bear Your Crosses

Let bear my cross with dignity

Even if more than one daily

Knowing that there are truly more deserving

O Lord of Your mercy and kindness everlasting

Always will there be

More worse off than me

Jesus my Lord and Savior

Let me be yours now and forever

Let me love all whom I greet

Let me learn as you to wash their feet

You Who on the Cross bore our sins so mightily

I now strive with mine own comparatively so tiny

Out of love do I offer myself

Let me strive to no longer sit on my selfish shelf

I long to only remain in your love

Oh my Lord in Heaven above

Let me bear all my crosses with honor

As I repent of my sins this Lenten hour

Amen
