St George, just in time
What would I do without you Oh Virgin Mother Mary? You who intercede and calm my fears. Pleading my cause to the Royal Court of Heaven? Placing my prayers, my struggles, my joys into Thy most precious hands. Purifying each prayer I ask your Son to hear and deal with confidence in the power God has bestowed on You, as His Mother. Oh! Gentle Rose of Heaven. Sweet scent of Love.
Mary, is Our Hope. Our bouquet of Mercy. Our flower of Love. When all is exhausted in our thoughts and words of petition, we turn to you as our link to that lifeboat that we swim to, tired and almost lifeless. Into that boat we crawl, where we get revived to life once again. Listen, to our prayers Oh Holy Mother of God. Give us resuscitation into our lungs that are needing air. Into our souls that are weighed down by sin. Palpitate our hearts so that we may live again, to show your Son, Our Father, our God, that we are His and His alone we wish to be. Help me abandon myself and throw my ways of Pride and sin into the deep recess of the sea. Tying my sins to the millstone of my evil ways. Let not your voice be silenced to my heart, who longs for Thee oh Mary! Oh! First Rose of Heaven, Heavenly flower. May I water Thee daily, so as to not wilt in my determination to be God's and God's alone. Keep the snares of the evil one far from me, so as not to drag me into the deep. Let me live for God and Heaven's sweet Garden where Thou reigns. Illuminate my path and let that sweet scent of victory over self and sin become the Rose of my Soul. There, content, with just Thee and Thy Son Jesus.
Oh Mary, first Rose of Heaven, You who were conceived without sin, pray for me who has recourse to Thee. Amen
