Eternal Fount
The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. —Isaiah 35:1 KJV
We are told to build our life upon the Rock of Christ. But what if we find ourselves atop shifting sands?
These could be the sands of time which run nonstop through our fingers, the sands of good health for we know not what tomorrow brings, the sands of finances which can change at the sound of a bell, or the sands of relationships that sometimes come and go.
When feeling unsteady, we can still bloom beautifully because the Stone—that solid Rock—continues to be our Source of wisdom and support, offering comfort and inner strength despite what happens or where we find ourselves,
Prayer
Lord, things feel uncertain right now. As the ground shifts around me, let me bloom with Your beauty and fragrance, knowing that You alone are my firm foundation.
Quote
Let nothing disturb you, nothing frighten you; all things are passing; God never changes. //St. Teresa of Avila (1515-1582)
Thought
A plant called the Desert Rose produces colorful flowers that can bloom for weeks at a time, even in dry, harsh conditions.
